Bromhexine 4 mg Syrup/100 ml for children
Bromhexine-Grindeks contains the active substance bromhexine hydrochloride (‘bromhexine’). It is suitable for acute or chronic bronchial or pulmonary disease in which the secretion and excretion of secretions are impaired. It changes the structure of the mucus, reducing its viscosity, which facilitates the expectoration of sputum.
BROMHEXINE-GRINDEKS is used as an expectorant in adults and children over 2 years of age.
How to take
It is recommended to take the drug 3 times a day, regardless of meals.
Each measuring spoon (5 ml of syrup) contains 4 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride.
The dose of the syrup depends on the age of the patient. Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, the recommended doses are as follows:

The onset of action is usually between 2 and 5 days of treatment. If the symptoms do not improve or get worse after five days, you should contact your doctor who will prescribe further treatment.
Composition of BROMHEXINE-GRINDEKS
– The active substance is bromhexine hydrochloride. 5 ml of syrup (1 measuring spoon) contains 4 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride.
– The other ingredients are methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), liquid sorbitol (E420), ethanol (96%), levomenthol, anise essential oil, peppermint essential oil, fennel essential oil, purified water.
