Bromhexin 8, 50 tablets

The medicine is a bronchosecretolytic (medicine for loosening mucus in respiratory diseases with viscous mucus).
It is used for expectorant treatment in acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs with viscous mucus.

Ingredients:
The active ingredient is bromhexine hydrochloride. 1 coated tablet contains 8 mg bromhexine hydrochloride. The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, gelatin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [vegetable], sucrose, calcium carbonate, light, alkaline magnesium carbonate, talc, quinoline yellow (E 104), titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 6000, povidone K25, glucose syrup, carnauba wax

Directions:

The recommended dose is: adults and teenagers over 14 years take 1 – 2 coated tablets 3 x daily (corresponding to 24 – 48 mg bromhexine hydrochloride daily). Children and teenagers between 6 and 14 years as well as patients under 50 kg body weight receive 1 coated tablet 3 x daily (corresponding to 24 mg daily bromhexine
