Content & Action
1 g of ointment contains 20 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride and 5 mg of methyluracil. The active substance of the ointment, methyluracil, promotes cell and epithelium regeneration, it also has anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating effect. The active substance lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic that reduces pain in the wound. Ointment also has bactericidal properties, which is provided by the excipient chinifuryl.
Doses and mode of administration
Following wound cleaning the ointment should be applied using sterile swabs impregnated with ointment, which should be changed every day. Duration of ointment application is from 7 to 14 days.
