HYLO Dual Intense is a preservative‑free, phosphate‑free ophthalmic solution formulated for severe or persistent dry eye symptoms.
HYLO Dual Intense is intended for moderate to severe dry eye, especially when symptoms are chronic, recurring, or accompanied by inflammation. It is suitable for individuals experiencing pronounced dryness, burning, redness, foreign‑body sensation, or irritation caused by environmental factors, prolonged screen use, or ocular surface disorders. It provides intensive, long‑lasting lubrication and stabilizes the tear film while reducing inflammation, burning, and irritation. The drops come in a 10 ml COMOD® bottle that delivers at least 300 sterile drops and remain usable for six months after opening.
How It Works
HYLO Dual Intense contains 0.2% high‑molecular‑weight hyaluronic acid, which forms a stable, long‑lasting lubricating film on the ocular surface. This concentration provides significantly stronger moisture retention compared to standard hyaluronic acid drops. The formula also includes 2% ectoine, a natural cell‑protective molecule that stabilizes the tear film’s lipid layer, reduces evaporation, and protects the ocular surface from inflammation and irritation. Together, these ingredients create a protective barrier, support regeneration of the ocular surface, and relieve severe dryness.
Ingredients
Each milliliter contains 0.2% sodium hyaluronate, 2% ectoine, boric acid, borax as a buffering agent, and water for injections. The solution is sterile, preservative‑free, phosphate‑free, and contains no animal‑derived ingredients.
Suitable For
HYLO Dual Intense is recommended for severe dry eye, chronic irritation, burning or stinging sensations, redness, evaporative dry eye, and symptoms associated with environmental stressors such as air conditioning, heating, wind, or prolonged digital screen exposure. It is also suitable for individuals with inflammatory dry eye conditions who require stronger and longer‑lasting lubrication.
HYLO Dual Intense is suitable for adults and children aged six and older, contact‑lens wearers, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and individuals requiring long‑term use of preservative‑free eye drops. It is appropriate for patients recovering from eye surgery or those with chronic ocular surface disorders.
How to Use
The usual application is one drop in each eye, three times daily, unless otherwise directed by an ophthalmologist. The COMOD® system ensures precise dosing and sterile delivery. To apply, remove the cap, hold the bottle upside down, support the hand holding the bottle, tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid, and press firmly to release one drop.
Storage. Do not store at a temperature higher than 25°C/77°F. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the package.
