HYLO Dual is a preservative‑free, phosphate‑free ophthalmic solution designed for dry, irritated, or allergy‑related eyes.
HYLO Dual is intended for mild to moderately severe dry eye, especially when symptoms are accompanied by irritation or allergic reactions. It is suitable for people experiencing burning, itching, watery eyes, a sensation of sand in the eyes, or hypersensitivity to pollen, dust, or animal hair. It provides lubrication, stabilizes the tear film, and reduces inflammation, itching, and burning. The drops come in a 10 ml COMOD® bottle that delivers at least 300 sterile drops and can be used for up to six months after opening.
How It Works
HYLO Dual combines 0.05% high‑molecular‑weight hyaluronic acid and 2% ectoine. Hyaluronic acid binds water and forms a stable, long‑lasting lubricating film on the ocular surface, improving moisture retention and comfort. Ectoine enhances water binding at the cell surface, stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, and forms a natural protective barrier against allergens and irritants. Together, these substances reduce evaporation of tears, relieve inflammation, and soothe allergy‑related symptoms.
Ingredients
Each milliliter contains 0.05% sodium hyaluronate, 2% ectoine, boric acid, borax (buffering agent), and water for injections. The solution is sterile, free from preservatives, alcohol, and phosphates, and contains no animal‑derived ingredients.
Suitable For
HYLO Dual is suitable for adults and children aged six and older, contact‑lens wearers, pregnant and breastfeeding women (up to ten drops per day), post‑surgery patients, and individuals requiring long‑term use of preservative‑free eye drops.
How to Use
The usual application is one drop in each eye, three times daily, unless otherwise advised by an ophthalmologist or pharmacist. The COMOD® system ensures precise dosing. To apply, remove the cap, hold the bottle upside down, support the hand holding the bottle, tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid, and press firmly to release one drop.
Storage. Do not store at a temperature higher than 25°C/77°F. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the package.
