Helmintox anithelmintic tablets with pyrantel (Pyrantelum) is indicated for use in Enterobiasis; Ascariasis invasion; Hookworm disease.
Dosing and Administration
Helmintox can be used regardless of the meal at any time of the day. The tablet form of Helmintox is indicated for use by older than 6 years. Tablets are used orally, Can not be taken on an empty stomach. Concomitant administration of laxatives is not required.
To eliminate enterobiosis or ascariasis
– Child’s dose: 1 tablet / 20 kg weight.
– For adults weighing less than 75 kg, a dose of 3 tablets is required.
— People over 75 kg weight should take 4 tablets.
In the case of severe infection with Ancylostoma duodenale, Necator americanus or severe hookworm infections, Helmintox for children is taken at a daily dose of 1 tablet / 10 kg weight or 2 tablets / 20 kg weight. For adults weighing less than 75 kg, a dose of 6 tablets is required. People over 75 kg weight should take 8 tablets.
It is allowed to divide the dose into two doses. In a milder form, the dosage is halved.
For better results, repeat the course after 3 weeks.
During the de-worming period, it is required to clean the room thoroughly and wash the children’s toys in the house. In addition, every day you need to change your underwear and iron the bed. Therapy should be conducted for each of the family members. To prevent re-invasion, you need to change your clothes every day, wash your hands thoroughly and avoid scratching the areas of your skin in your crotch.
