FORLAX – 20 sachets.
Forlax contains the active substance macrogol 4000 and can be used to treat constipation in adults and children aged 8 years and over. This product is a soluble powder. Dissolve in at least 50 ml of water and drink. Forlax generally takes effect between 24 and 48 hours after ingestion. Medicinal constipation relief should be supplemented by positive changes in diet and lifestyle.
Dosage:
For adults and children aged 8 years and over:
– 1 or 2 sachets per day, taken preferably in the morning.
– The daily amount may be modified to achieve the desired result.
Take 1 sachet every other day (for children, this is an ideal dosage) up to a maximum of 2 sachets in a single day.
– Dissolve contents of sachet in at least 50 ml of water and drink immediately.
Forlax starts working within 24 – 48 hours. In children, treatment should not last longer than 3 months.
Forlax is made as a whitish powder (with an orange and grapefruit taste and scent) for reconstitution as a drinkable solution. It is sold in packs of 20 sachets.
Do not take Forlax:
– if you are allergic to macrogol (polyethylene glycol) or any of the other ingredients;
– if you have severe bowel disease;
– inflammatory bowel disease (, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease with abnormal colon enlargement);
– at risk of gastrointestinal perforation or its development;
– presence or suspicion of intestinal obstruction;
– with an unknown cause of abdominal pain.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children below 25°C / 77°F.
