The active substance in Cetirizin Actavis is cetirizine dihydrochloride. Cetirizin Actavis is an anti-allergy medicine.
Cetirizin Actavis is indicated for adults and children from 6 years of age: to relieve nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and persistent allergic rhinitis;
to relieve chronic hives (chronic idiopathic urticaria).
Dosage
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age
– 10 mg (1 tablet) once a day.
Children aged 6 to 12 years
– 5 mg (half a tablet) twice a day.
The recommended dose for patients with moderate renal impairment is 5 mg once daily.
If after 3 days you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you should consult a doctor.
Composition
The active substance is cetirizine. Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Other ingredients.
Tablet core : microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, crospovidone, colloidal, anhydrous silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate;
Tablet coating : hypromellose, macrogol stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol and titanium dioxide (E171).
Store in cool, dry place out of reach of sunlight, no higher than 25°C/77°F and out of reach of children.
