A traditionally used supplement and a mild diuretic. It is used as an alternative for urinary tract infections and urolithiasis. 

Uses and active ingredients

The effectiveness is based on the long-term use and experience. Ingredients: sucrose, tackifier talc, complex extract (parsley roots, green bean pods and birch leaves), green bean pod powder, lactose monohydrate, potato starch, dry cranberry leaf extract, potassium citrate, sodium citrate, dry chamomile extract , viscosity-regulating agent magnesium salts of fatty acids, acidity-regulating agent citric acid, thickener acacia resin, glazing agents: white beeswax, carnauba wax, dye indigotine.

Method of Administration 

Adults and children over 12 years old are recommended to take 2 coated tablets 3 times a day with a glass of water. Administration to children below the age of 12 years is not recommended.

6 tablets contain: 0.52 g complex extract (parsley roots, green bean pods and birch leaves), 0.47 g green bean pod powder, 0.16 g dry cranberry leaf extract, 0.11 g potassium citrate (41, 22 mg potassium, 2.1% RMV*), 0.1 g sodium citrate, 0.05 g dry chamomile extract. * RMV – reference nutritional value.

Storage. Do not store at a temperature higher than 25°C/77°F. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Warnings

Urosept can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. So far there have been no adverse effects. Due to the presence in the preparation of parsley root of the potential photosensitizing properties there is little likelihood of skin lesions in people with fair skin with excessive exposure to sunlight. Do not use Urosept if you are hypersensitive to Asteraceae (formerly Compositae) plants or any of the ingredients of the product. Take special care: if you have edema due to heart or kidney failure. Due to the lack of safety data, taking the product during pregnancy or lactation is not recommended. No interactions with other drugs are known so far.
