Uses and active ingredients
EvoTears® is a water-free, preservative-free eye drop which acts to stabilise the tear film lipid layer, relieving symptoms associated with Evaporative Dry Eye and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD).
Composition: EvoTears® only contains perfluorohexyloctane (EyeSol®).
Lipid phase product for protection against evaporation and for dry eyes caused by screen work (PC, smartphone), air conditioning or drafts.Lays over the tear like a protective coat and counteracts premature evaporation

EvoTears® is lipophilic, thanks to the innovative substance perfluorohexyloctane, and yet has the same refractive index as the tear. Thus, vision is not impaired. Perfluorohexyloctane has other advantageous properties that have not been known to date in the treatment of dry eyes. EvoTears® spreads very quickly and rapidly forms a protective layer over the tear to counteract premature evaporation. In addition, a drop has a volume of only about 10 μl and therefore up to 280 drops per 3 ml content can be dispensed from one bottle of EvoTears®.
Method of Administration
Unless otherwise instructed by your physician and depending on the severity of your symptoms, use 4 times daily by squeezing one drop inside the lower eyelid. If necessary, EvoTears® can be used daily. EvoTears® is a unique product and is dispensed from the bottle using a slightly different method to conventional eye drops
To use EvoTears® Eye Drops, you need to:
Remove the cap from the bottle, upon first use remove the tamper-evident ring and dispose of it.
Hold the eye drop upright and squeeze it lightly.
Prior to placing the eye drop bottle above the eye, keep it squeezed.
Turn it upside down and immediately release the pressure thereby drawing air into the bottle.
Storage. Do not store at a temperature higher than 25°C/77°F. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
