For symptomatic treatment of certain painful conditions of the middle ear with closed eardrum.
Uses and active ingredients
– Acute congestive otitis media, – Flu-like otitis called phlyctenular, – Barotraumatic otitis.
With Phenazone 4.00 g, Lidocaine hydrochloride 1.00 g – For 100 g of solution for auricular instillation.
Notable excipients: Glycerol, ethanol.
Method of Administration
4 drops 2 to 3 times a day in the painful ear.
Mode of administration:
Auricular route.
Dropper bottle: pour 4 drops into the ear canal by exerting a slight pressure on the flexible part of the dropper.
To avoid the unpleasant contact of the cold solution in the ear, warm the bottle between the hands before use.
Storage. Do not store at a temperature higher than 25°C/77°F. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Warnings
OTIPAX should not be used if there is a crack in the eardrum caused by trauma or infectious diseases; if you
are allergic to phenazone, lidocaine hydrochloride or any of the excipients of this medicine.
